SOFTBALL INFORMATION

The Association of Courthouse Recreation (ACHR) provides an opportunity for the youth of Virginia Beach to play in a positive, instructive and supportive environment, with an emphasis in sportsmanship and goodwill among the teams and individuals participating.

Coaches and Assistant coaches are always needed and appreciated. Please consider registering as early as possible.

Practices are held on weeknights on lighted elementary school ball fields, Games for 6U and 9U teams are held at elementary school fields and are usually scheduled for Saturday mornings. Games for 12U, 14U 16U and 18U are played at Princess Anne Athletic Complex and are usually played on weeknight evenings.

ACHR provides bases, bats, batting helmets and balls. We also work with the city to maintain and line the fields. Players will need their own gloves, batting gloves, baseball cleats and mouthpieces (if desired).

We expect to form teams around the first of March and coaches will be in touch with practice schedules shortly after teams are formed.

We expect practices to start in March and games to begin in April and run through the end of the school year.

Each team will have a team page on our website with game and practice schedules posted when available.

ACCESSING THE SCHEDULES and STANDINGS

1. Go to www.VBUSL.com OR click on ACHR SOFTBALL SCHEDULES on the the Top Right.

2. At the top menu bar - Click on the "TEAM CENTRAL" tab.

3. In the Team Central drop down menu - click on "POSTED SCHEDULES" this will bring up the Schedule filter.

4. In the Schedule filter you can filter by: Program / Division / Schedule / Team - in that order

5. First select your DIVISION:

Futures Girls (Ages 5-7)

Pigtail Girls Fastpitch (Ages 7-9)

Pre-Teen Girls Fastpitch (Ages 10-12)

Junior Girls Fast Pitch (Ages 13-15)

Senior Girls Fast Pitch Ages (16-18)

6. Second - Filter by TEAM, if needed.
